16 Dec Growing Bolder, Not Older
LOOKING YOUNGER, KEEPING PERSPECTIVE
I admit at 65 there are days I’d like to look younger. The skincare business still worships perfect skin, with ‘Over 40’ lamented as an aging milestone.
It’s simply easier to have great skin when you are young. And I doubt that in 10 years any of us will say we look so much better than we do now.
It’s not about looking years younger. Good skin is about looking our best, and that starts with good health and a good skincare routine. Putting your best face forward instills confidence, which is not overrated. It’s powerful. And it’s not the same as arrogance.
NOVEMBER IS NATIONAL HEALTHY SKIN MONTH
Let’s use this as a reminder to do yearly skin checks, or more often if concerns arise. I’ve lost friends whose cancer started out with malignant melanoma that spread out of control.
Prevention is doable … daily sunscreen.
GROW BOLDER, NOT OLDER
Every time I turn around I’m hearing from customers sharing their compliments…and they don’t always have age on their side.
“Went to a new pulmonary doctor Monday, who went out and came back and said “you’re 81?” Told him yes and he said he’d gone out to make sure they hadn’t made a typo. Said hard to believe! Nicest compliment since he was in his 40s!
Been using Telluride Glow, and it’s paying off!” — Shirley E.
So THAT’S how it feels to have healthy skin at every age. Let’s embrace our age and savor the moment.
P.S. Our Gift & Specials section is a little picked over, but we have plans for something amazing for Cyber Monday. It will be our ONLY holiday special this year, so mark your calendar.
