TAKE A WALK. Fresh, open air is a better choice than a crowded gym during a viral crisis. IMMUNITY BOOSTING CHAI TEA
Toss everything in a crockpot except the coconut milk, cook for 3-6 hours, then add the milk and reheat. While it’s cooking, call your family and neighbors, especially the elderly, the ill, people who are out of work, or those with special needs. Offer to help. And when it’s done, surprise a neighbor alerting them to a doorstep delivery (in one of the many cute mugs cluttering your cabinet.)
You’ll appreciate this tea for the taste and healthy benefits. Ginger, cinnamon and turmeric are strong antioxidants shown to naturally boost the immune system.
Vanilla is also rich in antioxidants and superb at fighting skin damaging free radicals. Vanilla is a stabilizer and helpful for blemish prone skin.
4 Cups water
4 Cups coconut milk (boxed or canned)
1/2 cup Monkfruit sweetener
8 bags of black tea
1/2 teaspoon dried ginger
6 cinnamon sticks
12 whole cloves
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon vanilla extract or 1/4 teaspoon wild vanilla powder
Tip: For an extra creamy topper, whip some canned coconut milk with a bit of honey and dollop generously.
